And of course the daily ritual of people barfing in the parking lot and hedges adding that extra touch of class. During our 4 day stay we experienced multiple Fire Alarms sending us out of the building in the middle of the night, doors constantly slamming around us so hard we could feel the vibration from the bed, people yelling throughout the hallways around the clock, a next door domestic disturbance which sounded so violent, we came close to dialing 911 when hotel security did not arrive after our report of it (we do not know the status of the woman who was being thrown against the wall or furniture and screaming for help), 4 phones calls and a trip to the front desk to get shower towels and bed linen, uncontrollable shower water temperatures, an air conditioning system whose sound could be compared to the engines of the jet we flew in on, witnessing a man reliving himself out a hotel window while another hung laundry out, garbage piled up outside the back parking lot entrance. Giving Hard Rock Tahoe the benefit of the doubt, the July 4th holiday and COVID, we likened our stay to that of a Maximum Security Prison.
